Forgotten Holocaust: read this post
It is a matter of history that when the Supreme Commander of the Allied Forces, General Dwight Eisenhower found the victims of the death camps he ordered all possible photographs to be taken, and for the German people from surrounding villages to be ushered through the camps and even made to bury the dead.
He did this because he said in words to this effect:
'Get it all on record now - get the films - get the witnesses -because somewhere down the road of history some bastard will get up and say that this never happened'
This week, the UK debated whether to remove The Holocaust from its school curriculum because it 'offends' the Muslim population which claims it never occurred. It is not removed as yet... However, this is a frightening portent of the fear that is gripping the world and how easily each country is giving into it.
It is now more than 60 years after the Second World War in Europe ended. This e-mail is being sent as a memorial chain, in memory of the 6 million Jews, 20 million Russians, 10 million Christians, and 1,900 Catholic priests Who were 'murdered, raped, burned, starved, beat, experimented on and humiliated' while the German people looked the other way!
Now, more than ever, with Iran , among others, claiming the Holocaust to be 'a myth,' it is imperative to make sure the world never forgets.
This e-mail is intended to reach 400 million people! Be a link in the memorial chain and help distribute this around the world.
How many years will it be before the attack on the World Trade Center ...'NEVER HAPPENED'because it offends some Muslim ???
Do not just delete this message; it will take only a minute to pass this along.FREEDOM ISN'T FREE....SOMEONE HAD TO PAY FOR IT
If you can read this...thank a teacher.
If you can read this in English.....thank a veteran.
We make a living by what we get, we make a life by what we give.

So long as this generation of Americans is alive, 9/11 will not be forgotten...but the memory may fade depending on who holds power thereafter.
@Stoltz13 - right on
I've seen this . What's unbelievable is that there are actually people who believe that it didn't happen. How sad
disgusting some people are actually holocaust deniers.
We have the same struggle in the US, only it's science religious folk want to censor from the science class because it offends them.
Interesting....It reminds me of the things that we deny having done to Iran..and how we denied being friendly with Sadam. Maybe it is an act of spite.
I think we found an issue we can agree upon.
@rhiannonator - Agreed. Americans mostly don't know about Operation Ajax, but the Iranian schoolchildren aren't allowed to forget.
@Roninsabum - hell must have just froze over....lol
@Roninsabum - Idk about operation Ajax I'm going to look that up.
@rhiannonator - You are correct. I think we sold Saddam the poision gas he used on the Iranians. That is OK of course...they are Muslims and we can kill them as we please just as we have done to the Iraqis.
@tendollar4ways - what about the millions of women, children, and all others who were raped, murdered, hung, that we liberated seems you liberals forget about them and the justices we gave them.
@bukeshow - The basic idea is that in about 1953 the Persians overthrew the Shah in a nationalistic rebellion and elected a democratic government. Our CIA, along with the British, didn't like this because the new democratic government wasn't as oil-friendly as the Shah was, so we overthrew a democratic government and reinstated a brutal dictator for oil. This is why all those Iranians were shouting "Death to America" in 1979 after another 25 years of suffering under the Shah.
@bukeshow - and to say we kill muslims for the hell of it is just a stupid thing to say.
@bukeshow - Our actions led to the death of 1 million of them. 155 today. Seems you are a whole lot like the Muslims you condemn.
@Roninsabum - thanks for the info. Your very well spoken...
@tendollar4ways - I condemn no one except the radical islam extremists.
@tendollar4ways - @bukeshow - I've done some reading up on Islamic history as well as the Crusades over the past year. The ideology that the Islamic militants propose really does not concur well with what it actually started as in the 7th century--back when Baghdad was a cultural and educational center of the world and Western Europe was a brutal backwater. It was basically a revolt against government corruption and exploitative aristocracy. The current problems seem to be more based in the history of WWII and the old British Empire than overall Muslim ideology--the ideology is just being exploited.
@Roninsabum - so you wouldn't say most muslim countries absolutely hate us?
@Roninsabum - Pukeshow here will simply deny it. He is very very much like the people he is condemning. He is a history denyer.
@tendollar4ways - @tendollar4ways - Most do because of our ardent support of Israel (and I strongly encourage reading up on the history of how the modern state was formed) and because we have a military base in Saudi Arabia. However, Bosnian muslims are very strongly pro-American because of how Clinton came to their rescue during the war and genocide of the late 90's. Also, it should be noted that the ever popular Queen Noor of Jordan is a born and raised American.
@Roninsabum - do you think we should support Israel?
History is a long sequence of events where people steal each others land and resources. Now that Israel exists and situated, I support it's continued existence. However, I do not support the manner in which it was created and am very critical of the way it treats the Palestinian population. While the terrorism that resulted in both inexcusable and counterproductive to the Palestinian peoples' interests, we should not be surprised in the slightest that it occurred as such given the way they have been treated. They deserve an independent, sovereign nation as well.
